For celebration cakes and custom desserts, five days’ notice is ideal, and larger events or bridal work are best booked three weeks or more ahead. Henna dates fill quickly around wedding and Eid seasons, so the earlier you reach out, the better. That said, we love a challenge — if your date is sooner, message us and we’ll always try to make it work.

We’re based in Harrisburg, North Carolina, and serve the greater Charlotte area, including our surrounding communities. Pickup is always welcome, and delivery can be arranged for an additional fee based on distance. As of now, our travel fee for any service is $1.75 per mile, both ways.

Every order starts with an inquiry. Use the contact details on our site or the henna booking form to tell us about your event, and we’ll follow up with a personal quote. A 25% deposit confirms and holds your date.

Sometimes! It depends entirely on how full the calendar is that week. It never hurts to ask, so reach out and we’ll tell you honestly what’s possible. That being said, there is a rush fee.

We charge a $25 rush fee on requests that fall within three days. This is not applicable to henna bookings.

We’re happy to discuss dietary needs and will always be upfront about what we can and can’t guarantee. Please note that all of our products are made in a home-based kitchen that handles food allergens, so we cannot guarantee a 100% allergen-free product. Tell us about any allergies when you inquire and we’ll guide you honestly.

Yes. Our recipes use 100% halal ingredients, and we’re glad to answer any specific questions about what goes into your order.

Absolutely. Share your vision, colors, and any inspiration photos when you inquire, and we’ll design something made just for your celebration. We would like to note that inspiration photos are just that — inspiration! We don’t copy other bakers’ work exactly, but do our best to match the inspiration at hand while staying authentic to Mishti. Our Gallery is a lovely place to start for ideas.

A 25% deposit confirms your order and booking date. The remaining balance is due before pick-up or delivery. For wedding or tiered cakes, one week before the event date. Deposits are non-refundable if cancelled less than one week in advance; if we ever have to cancel due to something on our end, you receive a full refund.

Yes — for weddings and tiered cakes, tastings include a set of three 4” cakes in your choice of three specialty flavors or a custom flavor palette. Each tasting box is $85, and 10% of that is refunded once your booking is confirmed.

A few specifics: fondant cakes are an extra $40 per tier, and tres leches and chantilly cream frostings aren’t available for tiered cakes (they’re too delicate to hold structure). Every different flavor per tier incurs an extra $15 charge. Fresh florals add a charge according to your inquiry.

If you have a budget in mind, please mention it in your inquiry as well. We’d love to work with you and can be flexible, within limits.

Proper care matters, and improper storage or handling can change a cake’s appearance and taste. We’ll share care guidance with your order. Please also note that once an order is picked up and in your possession, we take no further accountability for any damage that may occur after it leaves our hands.

We use natural henna (which stains a rich red tone) and jagua (which gives a deeper black tone). We never use instant henna, which contains harmful additives. Our paste is made fresh, and we finish with a homemade sealant of lemon, sugar, and rose to deepen the stain. If you have sensitive skin, let us know and we can always patch test before full application.

Designs begin at $15 and are priced by complexity and the number of hands, not hourly. For events, party bookings are $55 per hour and bridal bookings are $65 per hour. A 25% deposit reserves your date, and deposits become non-refundable within three days of the service date or in the case of a no-show. Please DM us for more detail on party or bridal bookings.

With good aftercare, a stain typically lasts one to two weeks as it naturally fades. Leave the paste on as long as possible, keep it warm, and avoid water for the first several hours. We’ll send you full aftercare guidance, and the Mehndi page has our aftercare steps laid out for you.

Yes, we come to bridal preparations, parties, and celebrations throughout North Carolina. Our travel fee is $1.75 per mile, per way, if driving.

We understand life happens! But late arrival over 30 minutes may result in an additional $15 charge, so please keep us posted if you’re delayed.

Pickup is in the 28075 area (Harrisburg, NC). We kindly ask that you not arrive earlier than your pickup time, as we may still be finishing up. Late pickup over one hour with no notice may be subject to a $15 late fee — we understand delays happen, so a quick message if you’re running behind is all we ask.

Please tell us at pickup, as any concern with your order can be handed back to us then so we can discuss next steps together. We always want you to be delighted with what we’ve made.

Failure to pick up an order results in no refund of payment, and unfortunately a reduced likelihood of future bookings. If something has gone wrong, just reach out. We’re always willing to talk it through.
